I only get to see a black screen, nothing else. Some had another dialog asking about GPU and resolution, but nothing came out of it.ĮDIT: I already tried using the 1.0 exe version and SilentPatch. Whenever I try to start Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it just crashes two seconds later. When I select The New Game Option Then It Just Stucks. ![]() Start a new game and once you get to save then save it and try to load that state to see if it happens with compatible saves as well. Every one that was in the drop-down menu. Well then it is because your save files are incompatible. ![]() Hell, not only do these games run fine, they run better and more stable than under windows!ĭoes anyone know what could possibly be causing this? I'm trying to make a full transition from Windows 7 to Linux, and other than this one game, everything's been going pretty amazingly.ĮDIT: Before you ask which Proton version I used, I tried ALL of them, from 3.7 to Experimental. I heard it runs fine, but in my case, it really, really doesn'tĮvery other game runs just fine, GTA III, GTA Vice City, even Planet Coaster, which I fully expected to fail miserably. I heard using WineD3D fixes it, but it didn't do anything for me. I tried a 4:3 screen, low resolution, nothing. I never managed to get it to go past the loading screen, no matter which Proton version I used.
